” Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows; it only empties today of its strength. “

About
As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I am passionate about empowering individuals to overcome life’s challenges and achieve personal growth.
I believe that we all encounter different challenges and stressors throughout our lives, which can become overwhelming and exhausting, especially when facing them alone. There are times when we may not know how to express what we need but feel that something in our life must change. This is where I can help.
My experience includes working with individuals involved in the child welfare system, in educational and healthcare settings, and with those who identify as people of color or as Christians. My Christian faith and commitment to providing a space for those who share similar experiences and identities are central to my practice, fostering an environment of cultural sensitivity and spiritual support.
Every day, I have the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults, helping them navigate complex emotions, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. To support individuals in overcoming these difficulties, I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness.
When seeking the right therapist, the relationship is the most important aspect. It’s important to find someone you feel you can connect with, open up to, and be vulnerable with. My goal is to be that person for you.
