About
Life can be full of challenges, big and small. Sometimes those challenges can leave us feeling lost, disconnected, fearful, anxious, and overwhelmed. We may not feel validated, heard, or respected and in turn, restrict ourselves from expressing emotions. Making the choice to enter therapy is a success. I feel everyone is capable of healing from their traumas and can overcome life’s barriers. I respect that your goals are unique to you and are valued in the therapeutic process.
I practice from a person-centered approach. I feel that meeting individuals where they are is important to build therapeutic relationship. I take a trauma-informed care approach and believe that our experiences have shaped us into who we are today. I have worked with various populations and have experience treating people overcome addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, relational turmoil, and interpersonal issues with evidence-based treatments like EMDR, DBT, Schema therapy, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
Feeling safe, comfortable, and supported is important to me. When meeting with me, I will ensure you have the safe space to discuss difficult topics and
experience and feel validated. I believe that individuals can heal and prosper,
and I am grateful to be apart of that process.
