About
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to slow down the internal dialogue and lower the volume of your racing thoughts? Imagine turning inward and settling into a place that suits you for personal space and needs. Clearing your blurred lens to finally arrive at a path of self-worth.
“Self-care: the active process of making your body and mind a pleasant place to inhabit, by filling your own cup first. This ensures you have enough to give to others”- UNK
I have been practicing social work therapy for over 10 years. My background expands itself on the person-centered spectrum, ranging from CBT to DBT. My specialties concentrate on mood and personality disorders, schema therapy, mindfulness, grief and loss, substance recovery, and trauma-informed therapy. My primary practice narrows in on a solution-focused approach that allows me to introduce survival coping skills, subsequently enhancing self-discovery and self-awareness.
Walk with me at a pace that is realistic to your needs and I will introduce you to more colors other than “black and white”.
