About
When you are struggling, suffering can hijack your entire life. Do you feel like you, or a loved one, is drowning in feelings that they can’t control? My job is to help get to the root of the problem and to help come up with solutions that get you enjoying life again. When you’ve tried everything, and have the realization that things aren’t improving, I’m here to help. I specialize in helping children and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, or grief.
Lots of people feel angry at themselves and others for being in distress.
Emotions tend to be contagious, and they can easily infect other people and areas of our lives. The challenges we face today are unique and plentiful. Reactions to life such as anxiety, depressed mood, and behavioral outbursts are common. As a therapist, my goal is to help you navigate these challenges and reactions by providing them with successful coping and communication skills. By working with you to heal from the past, be in the present and feel secure in your future, my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, nonjudgemental, and empathetic environment.
My background in counseling makes me a valuable asset to you. With more than 10 years of education and experience helping families navigate divorce, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma I look forward to being a resource to you. My therapy combines the expertise of multi-disciplinary work with the commitment and attention of a dedicated professional.
My primary focus is anxiety, grief, and working with children and teenagers. I’m available to answer any questions or concerns you may have about beginning treatment. I look forward to talking with you.
