” Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting and less scary.

About

Finding the right person and place where we feel safe enough to be vulnerable can be overwhelming and challenging. This alone can make the decision of whether or not to enter into therapy even more stressful than it needs to be. Emotions being complex in themselves can make it even more challenging to figure out where to begin to open up and effectively express what it is we are going through. This process does not need to be that difficult or painful. My goal is to provide a safe and empathetic environment for my clients to process their emotions and life experiences. Through a client-centered and strength based approach, I wish to tailor my techniques to meet your individual needs. If you are someone who finds yourself struggling with coping with intense emotions, making decision you’ve later found yourself to regret, replaying back your past, worried about the future and difficulties building meaningful relationships, I may be a good fit for you!

In my therapy approach, I focus on a trauma-informed, person centered approach to help guide the work that I do with individuals 18+. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, self-esteem, and life adjustments. Throughout our work together we will utilize a mix of CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational interviewing and mindfulness based approaches to help you achieve your personal goals.

With these therapy approaches, my goals are to help you learn how to effectively and skillfully reflect, process and cope with your emotions without making your current circumstances worse. Together we will work to identify your values and goals in order to help you achieve the ability to create the life you aspire to live.
