I love this quote and use it as a guiding principle for the way I work with individuals. Most people are doing the best that they can at any moment in time. Maybe you are finding yourself feeling less than your best, finding that old ways of coping are no longer working, or maybe you’re just feeling “off”. Whatever the reason for ending up here, I commend you for taking this step! I would be privileged to work with you to find your “better”. Every person is unique and “better” looks different to each of us – my job is to help you find what those changes, tools, or paths look like for yourself. My goal is to help you understand how your past experiences impact you, find new ways to challenge unhelpful patterns, feel more connected to your inner self, and help you to create a stronger, better foundation for your future.

I use an eclectic approach to therapy as each of us has individual needs, meaning I incorporate components of several styles of therapy to best suit your needs. However, I will always provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, and objective perspective. I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices such as DBT, ACT, and EMDR. You can expect a fair dose of light-heartedness, laughter, and safety while we work together as turning inwards can be equal parts daunting and rewarding.
